In this blog we are sharing with you some of the most amazing day hikes that we’ve done around the world that you’ll want to add to your bucket list.
We’ve hiked over a thousand miles in the past eight years of being a full time travel family and have seen some incredible views.
We have a deep affinity for rugged, serrated mountain landscapes and have dedicated extensive time exploring the Rockies. However, we also passionately pursue surfing and rock climbing. Our travels span Europe, multiple visits to Costa Rica, a month-long sojourn in New Zealand, and a memorable road trip through Canada to Alaska. While our adventures are diverse, our unwavering penchant for embarking on remarkable hikes remains constant.
These are some of our favorite day hikes in the world. You can read aobut our favorite day hikes in the US here.

Thank you for your list! I loved reading it and I’m adding some of them to our list :) My hubby and I have 2 girls ages 11 and 13, and we love to hike. We’ve done Cinque Terre (one of my all time favorites), some of the Lake Louise (and Banff) hikes you mentioned, Yosemite, Rocky Mtn NP trails and hiked in the French Alps (from Chamonix) among others. We recently did the Mullaghmore Trail in the Burrens in Ireland which was an easy but incredible hike. Living in the Eastcoast, we LOVE Precipice Trail in Acadia NP, and Mount Katahdin (including the Knife Edge) both in Maine and various trails in the High Peaks region in the Adirondacks (NY).

I don't know how I missed this! We have wanted to do the French Alps and Acadia for so long. We are hoping to do both of those in summer 2020. I know, who plans that far in advance! haha
