EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes are better than any sport drink I’ve ever used. Anytime I head out to conquer a big hike I always carry this spray bottle of liquid electrolytes and every single time, they make all the difference in helping me get through gnarly adventures like hiking the 100 mile Tour du Mont Blanc which gains over 33,000 feet of elevation.
Honestly, I swear by these electrolytes and it’s one of my all time favorite. It’s a game changer and that’s why we’ve decided to write a full review of why they’re so awesome and why you need to pack these electrolytes on your next strenuous adventure.
These Liquid Electrolytes shoes were provided to us by EnduroPacks in order to create this review however the opinions expressed in this blog are, and always will be, TRULY our own.

Enduropacks Liquid Electrolytes Made All The Difference On Hard Hikes
The first time we tried out the EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes was when we tackled the Ten Peaks Traverse in Colorado.
This hike is epic. It goes over 10 peaks which vary from 12 to 13 thousand feet in elevation, and requires starting before the sun rises and having multiple evacuation points just in case the weather turns and thunderstorms roll it. It also contains a big section of class 3 scrambling on exposed ridge lines.
We knew this hike would be challenging but after only the first hour of climbing, I was already hurting and I started worrying that I wasn’t going to make it.
I immediately started adding the liquid electrolytes to my water bottle and quickly my energy was back. We continued supplementing that entire 12 hour hike and finished strong.
I am certain that without our EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes I wouldn’t have been able to finish.
Backpacking With Enduropacks Liquid Electrolytes
When we decided to backpack Tour du Mont Blanc last month, the EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes were one of the first things I packed.
This tour is incredibly challenging and gains more elevation per the 100 mile trek than climbing Mount Everest (without the high elevation, of course). The tour is typically done in 9-11 days but we did it in 7, which meant we combined often had to combine stages of the trek into really long, hard days of hiking.

Again, having the liquid electrolytes made such a difference when going over the steep passes. For this hike we didn’t mess around either. We skipped adding it to our water and would just spray it straight into our mouths, about 5 sprays every half hour. This kept our energy high and pace quick.
Kid Friendly
2 of my kids that tackle all the hard hikes with me, Gabi and Isabelle, also love using these liquid electrolytes on their hikes. I haven’t tried with our youngest two yet, but when I do, I’ll probably add just a splash of organic lemonade to the water/electrolyte mix just to help them with the taste.

How Do EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes Taste?
I won’t lie and tell you it tastes like candy but it definitely isn’t bad. The EnduroPacks electrolytes essentially taste like salt but with a little bit of a lemon tang to them to take the edge off the taste.
If you have sensitive taste buds you might need to add a little juice to your water to make it more palatable which is typically what most people dp.
Personally, I just care that it improves my performance and don’t mind the salty taste knowing I’m not putting harmful chemicals in my body.
No Harmful Dyes or Sweeteners
The biggest reason I started using EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes is because I won’t drink Gatorade or other sports drinks that have color dyes, preservatives, sweeteners, or even sugar.
I’m pretty picky about what goes into my body and I love that EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes are just electrolytes, nothing else, and they never bother my stomach. It’s pure power, energy, performance.
What are Electrolytes?
Electrolytes consist of primarily sodium, potassium, and magnesium, plus 11 other minerals. sodium plus 13 naturally occuring minerals in a liquid solution: potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, zinc, cobalt, selenium, silica, iodine, chromium, boron, silver, and vanadium with just a hint of natural lemon for a clean taste.
Whether or not you trust my word for this amazing adventure supplement, Electrolytes are scientifically proven to:
- Improve blood flow and muscle contraction
- Reduce risk of muscle cramps, headaches, dizziness
- Support a stronger immune system
- Replenish alkaline pH-levels
Lightweight + Long Lasting
The Enduropacks Liquid Electrolytes bottles are really small and easy to fit in your day packs.
Despite the size, a little goes a long way. We used about half a bottle for 3 of us on a 7 day backpacking trip and our previous bottle lasted us all summer because we only used it for our strenuous hikes.

The reason it lasts so long is because electrolytes are so powerful. The EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes ratio is 10 pumps to 16 ounces of liquid.
The long lasting nature of this supplement is a worthy investment for active and adventurous people.
It’s Not Just For Outdoor Lovers
As an adventurer myself who pursues most of my athletic activities in the great outdoors, I can fully vouch for the fact that electrolytes are an essential part of any hike, bike ride, day of climbing, and more but even if you’re not an outdoorsmen at heart, these electrolytes are perfectly suitable for all active people.
My husband does Jiu Jitsu and started complaining about cramping during matches. He started supplementing his training with EnduroPacks Liquid Electrolytes and it has made a huge difference in his performance as well as his recovery.
Try EnduroPacks BCAA and L-Glutamine
In order to maximize performance, you should also supplement your sports with a good L-Glutamine and BCAA supplement.
While the body does produce L-Glutamine on its own, during prolonged periods of intense exercise, the body cannot produce enough glutamine to keep up with demand, which in turn can reduce performance, and immune function.
If you are looking for an edge in your sports or back-to-back adventures, consider adding EnduroPacks L-Glutamine to enhance muscle recovery.
BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids. You’re probably wondering what the heck that even means. Amino acids such as L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine help promote muscle recovery. EnduroPacks makes a high quality, non GMO, GMP certified BCAAs that are manufactured in the USA. The only negative is that these sell out often so you might want to buy an extra if they are in stock.
These electrolytes will help you adventure harder, longer, and better and among all the gear I recommend to fellow outdoorsmen, this is surprisingly my #1 pick!
