With everything happening in the world today, we decided to take a lot of what we do in our fitness jobs and create a variety of classes to help people have a healthy outlet during these stressful times.

Robyn will be offering Vinyasa yoga twice a week. Isabelle will be leading a guided meditation class with me once a week. Victor will be teaching a strength and conditioning class twice a week as well as a kids’ fitness and gymnastics class once a week.

The best part is that ALL these classes are DONATION BASED. We understand that times are tough for everyone right now and appreciate whatever you can afford. After taking a class, we’d really appreciate if you could donate something, even if it’s only a few bucks, either to Venmo @Victor-Robledo-3 or Robyn’s PayPal robyn@nomadswithapurpose.com. It all goes to the same pile (aka refrigerator and gas tank) so either one is much appreciated 🙏.

Connection is really important right now and so, Victor and Robyn will also be doing a 15 minute “Coffee with Coach” meeting before the Tuesday and Thursday Strength and Conditioning Class. This is just a time to connect with others and share stories or ask questions. This is NOT something you should be donating for. It’s completely FREE and just an opportunity to get to know people better.

Fitness Classes

The strength and conditioning classes will be using only a few pieces of equipment. If you don’t have them you can still participate and we will do our best to give you other options.

Recommended Equipment:

Kid’s Classes

The kid’s fitness and gymnastics classes will involve gymnastics but will also have some fitness, games, and stretching as well.

For the most part, these classes can be done by students on their own, however, Victor would like to add a 5-minute section where parents interact with some simple spotting techniques in order to keep kids safe while allowing them to work on some of the more challenging skills.

As far as providing space and equipment for your child to participate in these classes, it’s ideal for them to have a soft surface. If this is something that we continue to find success in, then you can get a tumbling mat like this or even something inflatable like this, but in the meantime, grass, carpet, or a thick yoga mat will do. Make sure they have enough space around them to perform a cartwheel without hitting something (approximately 5 feet by 10 feet).
